    Terms of Service

    Last updated: July 2026

    Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LexOrbit, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including attorneys, law firms, paralegals, law students, and any other individual or entity accessing the platform.

    Description of Services

LexOrbit provides AI-assisted legal research, document analysis and summarization, judge analytics, citation mapping, predictive case analysis, document automation, and PDF management tools. LexOrbit is currently in pre-launch. Features may change, and access during beta may be limited or interrupted. LexOrbit is a research and productivity tool for legal professionals. It does not provide legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and does not replace professional judgment.

    User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@getlexorbit.com of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

    Your content

Documents and content you upload remain yours. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your uploaded content to train AI models. You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit, and that doing so does not violate any confidentiality obligation or third-party right.

    Our intellectual property

The LexOrbit platform, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by LexOrbit Inc. and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or distribute it without permission. Case law and public court records accessed through the platform are sourced from public data, including CourtListener from the Free Law Project, and are not our proprietary content.

    Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Prices are listed on our Pricing page and may change with notice. You can cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. During beta, access may be provided free of charge and may be modified or ended at our discretion.

    Availability

LexOrbit is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and during pre-launch and beta this is more likely than not.

    Disclaimer of warranties

LexOrbit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular matter.

    Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LexOrbit Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, missed deadlines, adverse case outcomes, or professional liability arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.

    Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LexOrbit Inc. from claims arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

    Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms, or for any reason with reasonable notice. On termination, your right to use the service ends. We will delete or return your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

    Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

    Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
